What happened?

On 24 January 2025 at 23:46, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Sittard, on Rijksweg Zuid. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
