What happened?

On 20 July 2024 at 20:20, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Assendelft, on Vaartdijk. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
