On 6 May 2024 at 16:48, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Rotterdam, on Schollevaartse Dreef. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
