On 24 February 2025 at 17:31, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Nieuw-Beijerland, on Van Wassenhovenstraat. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies.
