What happened?

On 7 January 2026 at 08:22, an ambulance was dispatched to a 112 emergency call in Westerland, on Westerlanderweg. The ambulance dispatch centre coordinates the response and sends a crew with priority lights and sirens to provide first aid on-site and — if needed — transport the patient to the nearest suitable hospital.
