On 5 April 2026 at 00:13, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Amsterdam, on Nieuwe Herengracht. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies.
