On 7 September 2026 at 20:42, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Roermond, on Roerzicht. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
