On 22 June 2025 at 20:10, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Rotterdam, on Van Oldenbarneveltstraat. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
