On 1 February 2024 at 17:03, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Heerenveen, on Abe Lenstra Boulevard. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies.
