On 29 November 2025 at 19:17, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Rotterdam-Albrandswaard, on Abel Tasmanstraat. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
