What happened?

On 18 May 2025 at 11:01, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Rotterdam, on Metaalhof. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.

Note: this is a test message. No real incident took place; the alert was used to check equipment or a procedure.
