On 8 April 2025 at 07:41, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Rhenen, on Anjerlaan. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
