What happened?

On 21 July 2025 at 23:50, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Capelle Aan Den IJssel, on Amsteldiep. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
