On 30 December 2024 at 12:26, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Hoogezand, on De Savornin Lohmanlaan. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies.
