What happened?

On 16 January 2024 at 12:25, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Maasvlakte Rotterdam, on Witte Zeeweg. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
