On 8 August 2025 at 23:39, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Bilthoven, on J.j.p. Oudkwartier. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
