On 6 August 2026 at 05:20, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Vrouwenpolder, on Fort Den Haakweg. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies.
