On 9 June 2024 at 15:16, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Leiden, on Jan Pieterszoon Coenhof. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies.
