What happened?

On 8 February 2024 at 11:35, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Ridderkerk, on Huygensplantsoen. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
