On 4 January 2026 at 19:13, the trauma helicopter (LifeLiner) was called to a 112 emergency in Heerlen, on Unolaan. On board is a Mobile Medical Team: a trauma physician and a specialist nurse. They fly to the scene to provide additional advanced medical care alongside the ambulance crew.
