What happened?

On 17 June 2024 at 20:59, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Nieuwpoort, on Vlietzicht. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
