On 13 June 2026 at 14:15, an ambulance was dispatched to a 112 emergency call at an unknown location. The ambulance dispatch centre coordinates the response and sends a crew with priority lights and sirens to provide first aid on-site and — if needed — transport the patient to the nearest suitable hospital.
The ambulance was dispatched as a Direct Deployment (DIA): the dispatcher was still gathering details from the caller, but the ambulance had already been sent on the basis of the first signals. This avoids losing time in situations that look immediately life-threatening.
