On 4 July 2026 at 13:37, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Maassluis, on Peter Van Anrooylaan. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
