What happened?

On 9 April 2026 at 15:20, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Hellevoetsluis, on Polaris. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
