What happened?

On 1 July 2025 at 14:34, an ambulance was dispatched to a 112 emergency call in Wijk Aan Zee, on Strand Zuiderbad. The ambulance dispatch centre coordinates the response and sends a crew with priority lights and sirens to provide first aid on-site and — if needed — transport the patient to the nearest suitable hospital.
