On 8 August 2025 at 13:19, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in De Bilt, on Cornelius Heymansweg. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
