On 27 May 2024 at 18:52, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Hollandsche Rading, on Kanaaldijk. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies.
