What happened?

On 22 April 2026 at 14:27, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Maastricht, on Molensingel. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
