What happened?

On 4 July 2025 at 21:01, the fire brigade responded to a 112 emergency call in Ridderkerk, on 't Zwaantje. The fire service is not only called out for fires, but also for traffic accidents, technical rescues, hazardous-materials incidents and water emergencies. Their deployment is coordinated by the fire brigade dispatch centre.
